Hartman-Parrish: All American and All State Post
All State is awarded to all posts in the State who complete all the tasks set by the Department of South Carolina Commander. Several Co-Captain's can be awarded based on how well their Posts completed all their reports but only 1 Captain is selected to the All State Team, VFW Post 6732 was awarded Captain of All State which means it was selected as the number one post in the State this year.
All American is awarded nationally to the Post and Districts who meet all the requirements established by VFW, National Headquarters. Most of the criteria to win this award is the same as for the State, but selections are made based on overall performance.
Clover was selected to receive the award this year for the membership growth, community activities, working with schools, teachers, and recognizing the emergency workers in our community. We were able to work with the community by installing a small memorial for the Clover Community Cemetery which was in dire need; worked with National Guard Members so they would not be forgotten, contributions to Unmet needs for deployed soldiers and their families, purchased and delivered food for needy families at Thanksgiving and Christmas. We obtain all our money from our members and donations to us through the sale of Buddy Poppies; fund raisers and outright donations by people.
